A competitive but scrappy encounter between Hemel Hempstead Town and Maidstone United saw the spoils shared at the Focus Community Arena in the National League South.
In a frantic start, Sol Wanjau-Smith came close for the visitors, as he forced Brad House into a smart save down to his left.
At the other end, Hemel had their first chance after a long ball which found Oliver Lynch, who used his strength well but fired wide.
In the 27th minute, substitute Eoin McKeown forced Alexis Andre Jr into a good save.
