CIRENCESTER secured an important victory against relegation rivals St Neots.
Ironically, it was the Saints who opened the scoring when Jevani Brown fired a low shot into the bottom corner.
The Centurions had a penalty appeal turned down soon after, but increased pressure soon brought an equaliser when Alan Griffin blasted home a volley from close-range.
The goal gave them confidence as Aiden Bennett had a fierce drive tipped over by Alex Archer.
But they gained the initiative when Ellis Dunton headed home six minutes before halftime.
