BISHOP’S Cleeve ended a five-match losing run by winning the Gloucestershire derby.
The first half was end to end, Shane Bumphrey having the best of the half chances but no-one could break the deadlock. But the second half exploded into action and Jacob Davidge saw his free-kick headed into his own net by Nick Hancock to give the hosts the lead.
Two goals in two minutes by Joe Bates and Jack Watts saw Cleeve secure the points although Shortwood pulled one back through an excellent Sam Mendes free-kick.
