■EVESHAM extended their unbeaten run to five games with a welldeserved win over play-off rivals Taunton.
The visitors opened strongly and it was Evesham who broke the deadlock on the half-hour with Jordan Bryan bursting into the box before drilling home a low drive past Lloyd Irish.
Taunton were denied an equaliser early in the second half when home keeper Kevin Sawyer made a brilliant point-blank save to keep out Craig Veal who looked certain to score.
