AARON O’CONNOR took his goal tally to 17 for the season as two late Poppies goals ended Cirencester’s mini-revival in their fight to avoid the drop.
A poor first half was only invigorated by several key moments and the glorious weather at Latimer Park.
The visitors took the lead on nine minutes as Kerry Morgan’s tame low free-kick bobbled right in front of stopper Paul White, evading him.
Kettering, clearly missed the unavailable Rene Howe, grabbed an equaliser through Nathan Hicks on 37 minutes.
