ASHFORD United have regained ownership of their Homelands headquarters following the settlement of an 18-month legal dispute.
Problems began when the Southern Counties East promotion hopefuls installed a new 3G pitch, financed by V Bar Limited through its lending arm of Minotaur Clubs Partnership.
Claiming that the club’s true financial position had not been fully disclosed, Minotaur then demanded immediate replacement of the £260,000 loan, leading to court proceedings, which saw ownership of the ground being transferred to V Bar and led to the club receiving a 10-point deductio...
