■BIDEFORD had the better of the chances in this hard-fought draw but can’t argue a share of the spoils wasn’t fair.
The visitors looked lively in the opening exchanges with Bideford captain Matty Bye called into action to head the ball off the line after just three minutes.
Evesham keeper Kevin Sawyer saved well from Ben Watson and Chris McPhee but was finally beaten when Watson converted Ian Sampson’s cross after 15 minutes. Sawyer was kept busy throughout but Evesham levelled when Adam Mann’s weak shot took a deflection and squirmed under Bid...
