BOTH sides finished with ten men for differing reasons as Hereford saw off hosts St Neots Town in a physical contest.
Saints lost Liam McDevitt in the first half with an ankle injury and his replacement Tom Wood had to come off with a gashed forehead after 70 minutes, leaving them a man down having utilised all three substitutions.
The Bulls bossed the first half with Pablo Haysham opening the scoring after 21 minutes with a curling shot.
John Mills then doubled Hereford’s lead, finishing from close range on the stroke of half-time.
