STRATFORD TOWN followed up their 3-1 midweek win over Kings Langley with a hard fought success over a spirited St Ives Town.
The hosts took the lead on 25 minutes when leading scorer Ben Stephens hit a precise low drive from 25 yards out into the bottom corner.
Four minutes later, they went 2-0 up as Jazz Luckie latched onto a throughball down the inside left channel and coolly steadied himself before steering his shot past Saints keeper James Goff.
