GOOD old-fashioned forward play proved decisive in a closely contested game, as Michael Gash scored twice to hand Kings Lynn victory in Leicestershire.
The match got off to an explosive start when some nice work down the right from Kings Lynn’s Jordan Richards saw a sweeping cross be met with power by the impressive Gash, who beat his man to firmly plant a header past Barwell’s Liam Castle.
This set a precedent, with Gash’s physicality proving too much for Barwell throughout.
