DESPITE a late fightback from the visitors, two first-half goals by skipper Gareth Heath and Luke Ingram helped Needham take all three points.
The first chance came from an Adam Mills overhead kick, which sailed over the visitors’ bar.
Stratford edged their way back into it, with Michael Taylor spurning two good chances.
Needham took the lead midway through the half when a Luke Ingram cross found Mills, whose shot was blocked and rebounded to the feet of Heath. He calmly slotted the ball into the corner from 18 yards.
