SWINDON Supermarine secured a crucial home victory with an entertaining win over Basingstoke in appalling weather conditions at the Webbswood Stadium.
The visitors took the lead when Sam Argent volleyed home a Zidan Akers cross on 11 minutes.
The home side had chances to equalise through Stuart Fleetwood and Matt Williams before Fleetwood expertly despatched a rebound from six yards after Cameron Kennedy parried Brad Hooper’s shot from 20 yards back to him.
