FROME Town kept themselves outside the relegation places by grinding out victory over struggling Hendon.
Although they were going up the hill in the first half, the better chances went the way of the visitors, with Jordan Rogers shooting over the crossbar.
Every Hendon attack foundered on the rocks of the solid Frome defence, a red shirt always making a key intervention when it was required.
Danny Boness had to make two saves for Hendon in the first half, but neither was difficult.
