ON A bitterly cold afternoon, Poole recorded their third consecutive draw – this time against Gosport. Poole probably had more possession and chances in the first half but Gosport defended well to limit their clear-cut opportunities.
Luke Roberts had a good shout for a penalty turned down with play brought back for an earlier foul. Poole took the lead when James Constable flicked on, with Roberts powerfully running into the centre and finding the corner despite Patrick O’Flaherty getting a hand on the ball.
