GOSPORT Borough gained their first win in seven as they beat Frome Town in an important match in the grand scheme of the league.
The whistle blew for the start of the game and the first and only concrete chance came to Ryan Pennery, twisting and turning to try to work the Frome goalkeeper Rob Brown.
Half-time came and either team needed to come out and get goals if they were to get out the drop zone.
With the second half needing excitement, it only took 20 minutes, Ryan Pennery bundling the ball over the line to give the hosts the opening goal.
