HAVING lost to the Martyrs last week, Weymouth really needed a win this time to keep pace at the top and so Brandon Goodship’s brace helped them to do just that.
The winner came midway through the second period from the penalty spot when Adam Davies brought down Yemi Obudabe.
Hotshot Goodship took his league tally to 27.
In the first half Goodship had struck a post from a corner but he was on target in the 21st minute when a fine run from Obudabe saw him play in the striker.
