CHANCES were at a premium as Barwell and Stratford Town played out an uneventful goalless stalemate at Kirby Road.
It was the visitors who had the better opportunities early on, with striker Dan Creaney getting on the end of a Ross Oulton freekick but his header was easily saved by Liam Castle in the Canaries goal.
The best chance of the game came from Stratford on 19 minutes when Kynan Isaac pounced on a mistake by Barwell’s Elliott Percival and his low shot thumped against the upright, with Castle beaten.
