LOWESTOFT’S inability to score from the penalty spot cost them dearly again as they fell to an odd goal of three defeat by Coalville Town.
There was little to choose between the two sides early on with chances being created at both ends. Coalville were the first to threaten as Elvijs Putnins was forced to turn a glancing header from Kairo Mitchell round the post in the opening minutes. Jake Reed and Dylan Williams were both denied by Matt Coton.
