SIX goals were evenly shared at the Camrose in a result that isn’t much help to either side. Basingstoke strolled into a two-goal lead by half-time as Sam Smart’s long-range halfvolley bounced under Liam Armstrong’s arms, and Harry Pearse was allowed to run unchallenged through the visitors’ half before firing into the corner from 20 yards.
