■ SOUTH PARK gained their first league victory of the season with a deserved home win against Thatcham Town.
The sparks took the lead in the 31st minute when Melford Simpson headed home a David Vetterlein cross from the left.
Adam Aziz had a couple of long-range efforts saved by Rackley in the Thatcham goal. Thatcham should have equalised in the 63rd minute when Miller was put through, but shot wide.
