TARIK Moore-Azille’s early goal helped Walton Casuals return to winning ways at the expense of struggling Merthyr.
The centre-back who arrived at the Stags over the summer broke the deadlock with only four minutes gone as they ended a run of three defeats in the last four games in all competitions.
James Comley would add a second with a little over 15 minutes left to leave the visitors comfortably placed in mid-table.
Merthyr, by contrast, have now lost four on the spin and remain in the early relegation zone.
