CHERRYWOOD Road saw a game that breathed life into the cliche of football being a game of two halves.
The first half saw a performance from Farnborough best described as ‘all style, no substance’ as they continually pressed from the whistle but with zero result.
After 14 minutes, Rose crashed a howitzer of a shot against the bar and as Boro collectively stood there admiring his effort, Merthyr counterattacked with Reffell finding the back of the Boro net.
