ADAM MURRAY’S double saw Royston ease to victory against struggling Nuneaton Borough.
Clear-cut openings were at a premium at either end, but Murray’s header broke the deadlock on 70 minutes and his second sealed the win ten minutes later.
Bruno Tavares shot powerfully but wide for Royston early whilst Leroy Lita and Dan Bradley had shots blocked for Borough.
The best chance of the half fell to Royston’s Ronnie Henry, but left unmarked from a free-kick, he could only head wide.
