MERTHYR Town came away from Devon with a hard-earned point in a game of two halves.
The first real opportunity came after 14 minutes when Owen Howe hooked a ball through to Jordan Lam. The Merthyr goalkeeper Jamie Cogman saved well at the feet of the onrushing Lam.
After 17 minutes, however, Tivvy opened the scoring. A delightful corner from Craig Woodman found the towering Gary Warren at the back post to head home.
