SINCE Farnborough last found the back of the net you could have worked your way through more than half of the Godfather trilogy and if Farnborough’s form and performances over this time were a Corleone, they would certainly be Fredo.
As Don Corleone opined, “friends should always underestimate your virtues and an enemy overestimate your faults”.
With Poole it proved the latter when, having been allowed by Farnborough to boss the opening minutes, they were found wanting at the back following some patient build-up play.
