ALVECHURCH struck twice in the first half to keep their play-off hopes alive and pile the pressure on basement boys Lowestoft.
The home side created early chances with Danny Waldron firing into the side-netting and Zak Brown having a shot parried behind by Lowestoft keeper Luis Tibbles.
Church finally broke through on 33 minutes when Ben Cassidy crossed and Waldron glanced the ball into the net.
