Eagles’ remarkable recovery

BEDFORD Town made a startling recovery from last Saturday’s 8-1 home thumping by Tamworth, when Tyrone Lewthwaite’s 43rd-minute goal sealed victory at Keys Park.
All the goals came in the second quarter, with Lewthwaite’s winner coming just three minutes after Hednesford had equalised.
Bedford showed early attacking intent but the best early chance fell to the Pitmen’s Riley O’Sullivan, whose header from Josh Webb’s cross cleared the bar.
