LEISTON continued their good run of league form with a hard-fought win against St Ives Town.
The Suffolk side had the first chance of the match after nine minutes when Will Davies headed wide from Joe Marsden’s cross on the right-hand side, before Enoch Andoh had a good headed chance, but he was off target.
Both defences remained on top with Sam Donkin clawing away a Michael Richens free-kick before the hosts took the lead in the 28th minute.
