THE GAME started brightly with both sides probing for openings but lacking the final ball, although Salisbury’s Nassim Kherbouch had to head a speculative lob off the goal line in the second minute.
The game threatened to come alive in the 16th minute when a quick clearance from Tiverton saw a superb throughball pass to Niall Thompson.
In space Thompson took the ball well and placed fine shot past Enfield in the Salisbury goal to take the lead.
