SALISBURY managed to clip the wings of league champions Weston-super-Mare by holding them to a frustrating draw on the last day of the Southern League season.
The first half saw both sides playing cagily, Devon Arnold harassing the Seagulls’ defence on the right-hand side of the penalty area after four minutes before chasing down a weak pass to send the ball into the net and give Salisbury a surprising early lead against the Division Champions.
