ROYSTON and Stourbridge played out a hard-fought draw in a highly competitive game in which a share of the spoils was a fair result.
Stourbridge started the brighter and made the most of the early running without creating any clear openings bar an Alexander Prosser shot that was comfortably saved by Louis Chadwick.
The Crows gradually asserted themselves on the game and opened the scoring with their first attempt on target. Greg Sandiford drove an unstoppable shot past Charles Price after debutant James Collins cross had been cut out.
