DREARY STALEMATE FRUSTRATES THE BORO

GOSPORT Borough were left frustrated by struggling Didcot Town on Saturday afternoon; the two teams sharing a goalless stalemate in an underpar 90 minutes at the AEI Stadium.
It was a slow start from both teams with Gosport creating the first chance after 13 minutes, Jake Scrimshaw breaking forward and seeing his low effort parried away by Didcot goalkeeper Leigh Bedwell. This was followed by a brilliant block from Luke Carnell as he threw his body in the way of Bradley Tarbuck’s powerful free-kick.
