A STOPPAGE-TIME header from Sam McClelland, his first of the season, secured a point for Berkhamsted in a well-contested draw with play-off hopefuls Stamford.
The point, however, leaves them in relegation danger, with only Long Eaton below them and safety 11 points away.
Olu Lawal rattled the Stamford crossbar early on but it was a lesson the Daniels didn’t learn.
At the other end, Connor Bartle pulled the strings for Stamford, and it was his flighted cross after 16 minutes which invited Ashton Offler to score with a fine header.
