SALISBURY kept up their serious challenge for the title with their second win in ten days against neighbours Poole Town.
The first ten minutes saw both sides set out their stall and committed to open attacking football. The first and best chance for Poole came when hesitancy in the home defence saw Dolphins’ Wes Fogden lob the ball wide of an open goal from distance.
In the 25th minute Poole captain Jamie Whisken skied an effort at the far post with the goal at his mercy.
