DIDCOT have yet to record a victory in ten attempts against the seven teams immediately above them in the table, Beaconsfield adding to that unwanted statistic by securing the three points at the Loop Meadow.
The hosts were hampered by firstly losing forward Robbie Gallagher to a first-half injury and then to Jim Glover’s red card.
Nevertheless, even with those restrictions the Railwaymen were poor; the Rams were scarcely any better, even against ten men, but James Dobson’s late strike proved decisive.
