TWO first half goals proved to be the difference in a dominant away performance from Gosport Borough while a late red card for the home side completed a miserable afternoon for struggling Hayes & Yeading.
Hayes appealed in vain for an offside flag after an early long ball beat Jacob Adams in the home goal, mistiming his clearance and leaving Gerson da Costa Ramos to walk the ball into the empty net.
Ramos’ snap-shot from the edge of the box was pushed away by Adams for a corner after a swift counter attack.
