NEEDHAM MARKET remain five points clear at the top of the league after a competitive home win over Barwell.
Needham started brightly and took the lead on ten minutes, Luke Ingram capitalising on a poor clearance to lob the goalkeeper and score his tenth league goal of the season from 50-yards out.
There weren’t many clear chances but the Marketmen doubled their lead on 37 minutes, Tevan Allen’s left wing corner found Jamie McGrath rising highest to head home his eleventh league goal.
