STRATFORD Town held on to secure the three points despite a late fight back from Royston Town but it was not enough for them to grab the final play-off place.
The Bards built up a well deserved 3-0 lead through Lewis Wilson, Alex Worley and Tyrell Skeen-Hamilton before the Crows came to life.
Cain Keller pulled a goal back nine minutes from time and Danny Baulk added a second deep into stoppage time but it came too late.
