RELEGATED Long Eaton United ended their season on a high with a victory at home to Leiston.
Leiston wideman Joe Marsden created plenty of chances for the visitors in the opening stages but they could not find a way past Long Eaton goalkeeper Ross Durrant.
As the half ticked on, the hosts began to create scoring opportunities at the other end. Liam Loughlan and Tom Hewlett were played through on goal by Joe Nyahwema but Leiston’s Sam Donkin stoped both efforts out of his goal.
