FROME TOWN made a perfect start to the league season as they secured a narrow away win over Gosport Borough.
It was a fast start as both teams had chances within ten minutes, Alfie Stanley forcing a save from Frome keeper Kyle Phillips and the visitors seeing Marcus Day’s shot denied in response.
Asher Yearwood soon skied over and Phillips did brilliantly to produce a great diving stop when Daniel Rowe was played through one-on-one.
