POOLE Town survived a late pounding in the rain to claim victory at the Alfred David Memorial Ground.
The visitors enjoyed the early exchanges, dominating the ball, and could have taken the lead as early as the fourth minute when Billy Lowes rounded Watkins in the Marlow goal, but his shot hit a post.
Poole continued to have more of the ball, but Marlow grew in to the game. A pass through the middle found Amissah on goal, and a push in the back from Harry Thomas saw the referee award a penalty. Dave Tarpey sent the keeper the wrong way to put the ...
