SWINDON Supermarine produced an exceptional performance to put five past high-flying Poole Town.
The home team opened the scoring in the 10th minute when a mistake at the back was pounced on by Dave Sims-Burgess who slid the ball past the advancing keeper.
Just before half-time, Poole had a lifeline when an injudicious challenge saw a penalty awarded to the visitors. However, Toby Holmes’ penalty was well saved by Luke Purnell diving to his right.
