THE Peacocks gained a convincing first home Southern League win of the season as they increased their visitors’ woes at the bottom.
After a positive start, Taunton broke the deadlock after 23 minutes when Tom Purrington took advantage of some hesitant defending to square for Owen Brain to slot into an empty net.
Sebastian D’Aversa headed against the bar from a corner for Marlow, who were two down after 26 minutes when Purrington slipped in Tom Smith and when his shot was parried, Alfie Mould-en steered home the loose ball.
