BEDFORD’S unbeaten home run in the league came to an end with a disappointing 3-1 defeat against Barwell.
The visitors took a fifth-minute lead, when a rebound off Bedford”s Dequane Wilson-Braithwaite fell kindly on the right wing for Brady Hickey.
Although Hickey’s subsequent cross into the area was too long, Deen Master collected the ball, took it to the left byline, and hit a vicious effort that crept in between Nathan McDonald and a post.
