WIMBORNE Town put on an expert performance to extend their unbeaten run to six games and deal a blow to Totton’s title hopes.
It was a quiet start to the game with few chances for both teams, the first of which coming in the opening ten minutes when Totton’s Tony Lee saw his tame header saved by Cam Plain.
Wimborne’s best chances in the first half came from set-pieces and a clever in-swinging corner teed up Cam Munn nicely at the edge of the box, but his volley was dragged wide of the left upright.
