CHERTSEY TOWN did themselves a power of good with only their second home win since the New Year.
Bracknell contributed, but wayward shots in the first half were countered by two decisive moments, and two goals, from the home side.
They both came from wide play. Conor Lee raced up field, then snicked the ball inside for Jack Mazzone to sneak his side into a 18th-minute lead.
The game became scrappy as the interval approached, not helped by petty free-kicks, more for Bracknell’s advantage but all were wasted. The Curfews broke out ...
