A DOMINANT Royston performance secured all three points over a lacklustre Alvechurch side.
The visitors edged ahead in the seventh minute when Aaron Greene capitalised on Krystian Pearce’s failure to control Adam Murray’s headed clearance, bursting through on goal before slotting past the goalkeeper.
Murray nearly found his own name on the scoresheet nine minutes later but his audacious long-range volley came off the underside of the bar.
