REIGNING champions The New Saints now lead the JD Welsh Premier League on goal difference after they won 300 at Caernarfon Town – and early pacesetters Connah’s Quay Nomads crashed 200 at Barry Town United.
Darren Thomas, Jamie Breese and Danny Brookwell all had excellent opportunities to score for newly0promoted Cofis, but found TNS keeper Paul Harrison in fine form.
They were punished as Dean Ebbe put the Saints in front two minutes before the break and goalscorer turned provider on 59 minutes, with Ebbe teeing up Jamie Mullan.
