QUALITY in the final third was the difference in the Channel Islands, as high-flying Hythe Town battled past Guernsey 2-0, with the hosts unfortunate not to get a point.
A free-kick teed up Hythe striker Zak Ansah to belt a 25-yarder that bounced in off the crossbar on nine minutes but the contest was even for the majority.
There was an element of luck about the second on 64 minutes as a Guernsey defensive block fell kindly for Ansah to set up Jack Sammoutis for a neat low finish into the far corner.
