CRAY Wanderers went ten points clear at the top of the Bostik South East and made it five wins in a row after a hard-fought victory against VCD Athletic at Hayes Lane.
The hosts shaded the opening half hour and took the lead with a wonder-strike from Freddie Parker, who fired a shot into the top right hand corner of the net from 30 yards.
Cray doubled their lead on 52 minutes as Ben Mundele curled in.
VCD were awarded a penalty for a foul on Charlie MacDonald, for which Archie Johnson was sent off, which he converted.
